We had an '07 RMZ250 with well over 120 hrs and never once adjusted the valves. Always checked them and they were always within spec. Did top ends every 30 hrs, but valves were good.

The early KXF/RMZ valves were so "bulletproof " that Pro Circuit made a fortune off their replacement valves.

Yea the early kxfs/rmzs were straight junk my one friend says he had a yz 250f with 250 hrs on it valves never moved but they did do pistons then the tranny went
