Swapped fork springs now my fork sound like an old bed spring mattress

So I just installed One rate stiffer Race tech for spring and my left fork leg of my 2023 KX450 I'm almost 100% positive I did everything correctly.. but now my fork is making a old creaking bed spring mattress type sound when I compress them.. Anybody know what this is?. heard a lot of people say it's normal that they wear in after Time.. but for some reason I don't believe that!! am I wrong? What's up, i need help here!

Possibly a slightly shorter spring and need preload spacers?

Every time I have springs put in it is noisy.  Never questioned it.

Ok so I took my fork apart very carefully and remeasured the Race tech spring I had put in there compared to my OEM spring again.. and found I miscalculated the spring length when I originally put it in, I added two of the spacers included in the kit well I took out one of the spacers.. reinstalled the spring and put the fork back together very carefully and now the noise is almost non-existent..still a slight noise.. ever so slighht.. but much much less so I'm happy with it forks are smooth feeling and pretty much quiet now..that little noise that is there I can live with cuz it's a hundred times better than it was. Guess I need to pay more attention to my spring length if I ever do it again..thanks for the replies guys! Oh and they did exactly what I was hoping they would do made my first ride a little bit higher in the stroke and just by sitting on a bike pushing the front end on it actually feels more plush I have to wait for a ride report when I ride it but I'm happy so far as to the way it feels and the way the bike sits
