So I am about ready to put my bike back together and noticed the cylinder coating is messed up near the top. I actually noticed it when I tore it apart, but it's been a while and I forgot about it. So does anyone even do just the coating, or does it have to get resleeved? Oh and if you've had it done, who did it how much was it and how long did it take? Looking for somewhere local. Thanks for all the great help I'm sure I am about to recieve.

I just had my cylinder replated at Millenniuem Technologies, It was striped of the old coating, replated and bored than diamoned honed. It costed me $209.95 and it took them about a week.

They also have an exchange program where they send you a cylinder already reconditioned and you send them your's as a core. Save's alot of time.

I won't use anyone else. I've tried the others, and these guys are the best.

I've used Millennium in the past with good success, except for one time the exhaust bridge on a cylinder had a little to much build up and the power valve flaps would rub on it.

Nothing I couldn't fix but someone a little less inclined may have had some trouble.

Maybe I will give powerseal a try next time.
