Help for a great content creator in our sport...

Hey all, you might have already heard or seen on social but there was an incident during the 450 LCQ this weekend in Arlington. A rider lost control, launched off the track, and struck SwapMoto Live's Chase Curtis, pinning his leg between the bike and the starting structure. It broke his tib and fib below some already existing hardware. The easy part was the media guys coming together to cover his work for the night, the hard part was watching our friend in so much pain. I'll give Chase props, great grip strength, I thought he was going to break my hand when they were loading him up. 😅

Curtis had just come back from a riding injury last year that caused that pre-existing hardware and now he's laid up again. Yes, he has insurance, no threat of lost wages, etc. So it could be worse, however, he's stranded in Texas as he needs further surgeries and the doctors are quite concerned with compartment syndrome setting in. He's got a bit of a little bit of road ahead of him to get back to work and normal life.

Anyhow, his boss Donn Maeda set up a GoFundMe if anyone feels right chipping in to help Chase with some of the expenses that are going to come up during this process. Like myself and a few others, Chase is one of a few who works day and night to produce quality free content for all to enjoy. If you have enjoyed his interviews, great videos, content, etc...maybe consider helping the guy out if you're in a position to do so. If not, maybe drop him an Instagram comment of support or shoot him a DM.
