Back in 02-03, the UK Fox Racing rep went to the US on a business trip as was a guest of Honda at a SX- I  remember him telling me that the weirdest thing he saw was Honda techs warming up RC’s frame with heat guns prior to the races starting.

For what reason don’t Factory KTM participate in the Military appreciation theme?

They do. Very minimal effort.

That doesn't explain it. They could tell decal works to do whatever they wanted and it would take zero effort from them. Doing this little is deliberate and there has to be some explanation for it.

That doesn't explain it. They could tell decal works to do whatever they wanted and it would take zero effort from them. Doing this little is deliberate and there has to be some explanation for it. 

Ask Red Bull, Rockstar, Monster. 

Most of the teams sponsored by energy drinks don't do much.

Let the factory teams do their thing so the privateers and smaller teams can show out for military appreciation and get some good attention.
