Best thing to come out of Rockford. I wouldn't say they are underrated, but then again i live in Rockford so I hear about them all the time. Plus I believe they already were inducted to the R&R Hall of Fame.

I think Fu Manchu is an underrated band.

Jeff Healy seemed to never get the recognition he deserved.

Steve Vai makes me get up and move no matter what I am doing.

Eric Johnson

And if we are going to talk about these two, lets just add the third of the group.

I'll start off ( If i may ?) with Rod Stewart - sure he's a lounge-singer now, but at

one time - his raspy voice powered some killer music with some raucous bands.

BAD COMPANY - Paul Rodgers has one of of rock's greatest voices and BC had some

awesome tracks and albums.

TALKING HEADS - Byrne and Company could rip it up...

SUPERTRAMP - Some cool, intricate, power pop, especially popular in Europe - Italians

were nuts about 'em (Neil Young, too....)

Tommy Bolin!!! Screw the Deep Purple years, although they were mighty fine; I'm talkin' bout his (sadly) little-known solo work. Made jazz fusion guitar so tasty, you just want to sop it up with a biscuit. Soooo nice! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVzKLJHMKLQ

Also underrated was Rory Gallagher - guitar genius extroardinaire and old-school Irish gentleman to boot. Tasty-azz slide guitar here, boys! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVzKLJHMKLQ

Both of 'em gone way, way, way too soon. God bless.
