Obviously he can win outright, but when is the last time that a Supercross rider in his second season one 9/10 races in a season or ever? I'd be surprised if anyone, Haiden included, won outright. IMO, the riders in the 250 class just aren't mature enough to maintain their composure throughout the entire Supercross season as it requires a 100% hit rate (as there is only one main event as compared to MX), thus you can't make it back if you had a weirdo ride.
What I'm more-so trying to say is that there is lots of racing left if Haiden Deegan wants to win this title and show the 250 Class that he is the guy to beat in Supercross.

Yep, I wasn’t implying that JuJu was going to “win out” but I think he can win again. Would agree with others that Deegs is still the favorite, especially now that Jo is hurt, but I wouldn’t count JuJu out. He doesn’t seem to ride over his head and he’s fast, not getting lucky like TV did last year. And if there aren’t team orders, Cole can also rob points from Deegs making this championship harder than expected

Team orders are typically given when someone has a lead and is trying to wrap up a championship. Davies is only 5 behind Deegan at the moment.

That being said, Deegan is probably still the most likely of the 2 to win the title, however Davies should continue to improve and perhaps change that.

Not every title talk is comparing the greats of the sport. If you’re comparing RC and RV sure fuck your regional title. When talking about the current 450SX class, you aren’t in the top 10 without ever winning a regional SX title. So yea if Deegan wants a successful 450SX career the proof usually begins in the 250 class.
