An end to these threads? No there won't.

Wow, there's a lot of dumb stuff in this thread. Actually, there's usually a lot of dumb stuff in any thread about James on here.

People seem to have a very short memory when it comes to the speed that he can bring when he's healthy, and a lot of the posts these days seem to revolve around his motivation, desire, etc...and no one can answer that except James.

I'm looking forward to Unadilla. Smile

Do you really think some people don't like James bacause he's black? I can't understand that someone wouldn't like the kid because of his color. I loved him until he started being a danger to everyone around him on the track and gave up on half the sport. The important half IMO. I still wish he was racing though. I miss seeing him ride. Unfortunatley we will have to wait until Dilla, if you believe him, which I am not sure about yet. We have seen him bait us before. Let's hope he really does race the last four.

Teamgreen,
You're right, these threads would end.....than there would be a million threads stating what a badass he is and how everyone loves him or what a loser he is depending on his finishing position.

Also, he DOES have a bit to prove to us...

Is he STILL "The Fastest"?

Did the crowd "move on"?

As to the "heart" thing...

A lot of his fans are tired of waiting...time for him to show some "heart".

That's all.

Me?

I'm expecting 100% typical JS7...

And, I look forward to seein' Big James at the races, again. Sometimes I think everyone forgets who got JS7 to the top of the game...

I think we might be forgetting a third Stewart. Will Malcolm be moving up by then?

That's not a boss-worthy thing. It's a common sense thing, and we could use more of that around here.

Exactly. It's one thing to hate the guy but it's a whole different deal to think that he is done and a has been.

Yep. IF (you said when first) he doesn't race and is healthy he will be toast. I can promise you I will bring up this thread and a couple others IF he does show.

Bigger question is IF he does show what are the haters going to use as an excuse to hate him?

The key word if "if". James Stewart will probably race if and when he is ready to. If anybody feels like they got taken advantage of by him not racing when they wanted him to then please feel free to not reup your support for him in the future and/or take the necessary legal action to get satisfaction. If you don't sponsor him and/or have a contract with him requiring him to race certain events then he doesn't owe you shit!

I for one don't hate him, I'm just sick of the stories. History tells me he won't be at Dilla for some horse shit reason or another. I was at one time a fan, I just cracked before you. Long before you... I want to like the guy, I really do. He's American. I will be happy to be wrong if I am. I'll be at Dilla, will he?

In the last 5 years ish, what are his results at Dilla? I THINK, without looking it up, he missed about 3 years there before the perfect season and all after. And during the perfect season, it was the closest he got to getting beat, and it was by Cody Cooper in the mud. His record for Dilla on a big boy bike are not good. I would THINK that this would be the last race he would want to enter. Maybe that's the exact reason he would choose that race. Time will tell.

Oh ok so it is just the one race you are talking about. I think you might be right, maybe that is the reason.

Do people just jump at the chance to cut James Stewart down? If your a fan of the sport, I would think you'd be a James Stewart fan. Love him or hate him, no one should jump into a thread to just write negative stuff about anyone.

James broke his wrist and on top of that it was the worst bone that a racer could break in his wrist. He's luckily back on a bike, riding again and he's even wanting to race sooner than later. Look at he positive in that and not the negative.

Earlier through this thread, someone wrote about "tripping over nuts"? I have a feeling the nuts that are going to be tripped over are going to be your own, trying to get close enough to the race track or rushing to your TV to watch James Stewart race. One thing that one can deny, you love to watch James Stewart race. I for one can't wait to watch him myself.

Setting aside all the BS Larry...we are frustrated that James isn't riding for a lot of different reasons. He's amazing on a bike and we all appreciate that.

I for one, just want him on the track at 100%...win or lose.

There's a ton of rumors out there. It gets frustrating to hear he's back...he's not back...he wants to ride the Nationals...he can't due to contracts...oh, wait, he's tired of racing and wants a vacation. It's the misleading nature of the information--and that information is from you and James (Bubba's world)--not just internet BS. That has no defense.

If you want to give James a message from me: Love your style on the bike. Hope you are healed. Can't wait to see you ride and good luck with whatever else you decide to do.

PS: LB thanks for stopping in. You've been beaten up on here (I've taken my shots). I give you credit for coming back.

Here is the exact quote....."When his wrist is healed and if he said he wanted to race MX he would have a deal made and Larry Brooks would be tripping all over JSs nuts to get it done. unquote............ By your new user name I would guess you are Larry Brooks. My point is that what ever James wants to do he will be able to do because you will make it happen,If he said he wants to race the nationals would you tell him no ?. There is no way I will ever believe that if Stewart wants to ride MX that he would not be able to. James is one of the few racers who can do what ever he wants and he is on a very short list of other riders like Carmicheal, McGrath,Reed and soon to be Dungy who can write Their own ticket. Hell yes I want to see Stewart ride and IF he rides MX I think he will win.

You nailed the problem, and it's "rumors".

I think a majority of them start from unfounded speculation around here. GuyB has always been great about shooting down the outright ridiculous stuff thrown around regarding James but it doesn't seem to matter. People still run with bullshit as fact.

thanks.

the dumb rumors that go around...well, people want to believe stuff or start stuff, there's nothing anyone can do about that.

But, if you follow the twitters from James and the different interviews, we get several different versions of what is going on. James contract details are none of our business, but, his presence on the track is.

Why? The reason he's where he is, is because he's so amazing on a dirt bike and people will pay to see that. "The fastest man on the planet" is the brand he and Larry are marketing. He doesn't ride a dirt bike, nobody has ever heard of him.

Stewart is the one person in this whole game who could really do whatever the hell he wants to when it comes to racing a dirt bike. Does anyone think for a moment that something wouldn't come together if he told his team that he was going to do SX and MX? You don't tell "the fastest man on the planet" no, now do you?
Ssssh, you arent supposed to bring that up.
