nah, of course we have maybe around 10 top guys from 450 and 250 classes combined who can definetely qualify for a US pro national. most of them were top 10 at the european championship and three of them raced mxgp until russians got banned from racing. of course i am slower than those guys, missed two years due to back to back acl injuries but was consistently top 10 before that so i guess an average “pro” in russia is more like US b class

most likely alex fedortsov, he is currently riding for clubmx in US and is going to make his pro debut so it will be fun to watch) (he is the one of those who is allowed to race by ama) in mxgp we are going to have artemiy nazarov and semen rybakov. both of them are great riders and did good competing in europe. considering current political situation nobody knows when we will be allowed to participate in fim and ama races, but the time flies as well do the best years of these and many other athletes’. kinda sad. i would also like try my best at some european races like italian championship and maybe find a european team. it is not about the level of riders, it is just about the sport as an industry. in russia there are just a few sponsors involved into motocross and the paychecks for race wins are hilarious. like 100$ for winning a race in average. and what about the teams that help athletes make mx their full time job: there are only two big teams that actually pay salaries to the riders and only 1 of them is commercial based and only this team pays like enough money so you can quit your full time job to dedicate yourself to the sport. but, regardless of what i just said, sport here is growing, the level of riders is increasing, bikes become decent even to mxgp standarts and there are more and more not moto-related sponsors involving to the sport. so hopefully in year or two we will see a lot of new names from the eastern side of the world))
Asian countries and India are seeing a lot of growth in MX too, so maybe some other places to go and race. The world changes and this always brings more opportunities. I spend a lot of time in Colombia and this culture is insane for motorcycles. There are a lot of talented guys, they just don't have proper tracks here, but I am working on that. I hope one day to see a Colombian MX world champ.

I think it would be better for you to get used to Honda ergos, after riding it for 2 weeks other bikes would feel weird to you. That's how it works.
