I raced the TORCS series last saturday and we did the ole 'hand on the helmet' start dealio. Meaning, live engine start - clutch hand on top of helmet - bike in neutral.
The guys with the Rekluse clutch setups have a huge advantage as they just pop it in 2nd and wait for the flag and gas it.
What do you guys think - should they use right hand on helmet instead to keep it fair?

yeah, but w/ the 4 strokes, half the field might not get going for 30 minutes...

My 450 starts on the first kick every time. Guys that can't figure out how to start their bikes deserve what they get.
and it's cool
No kidding! Mine, too.

Actually, I got better starts on my CZs without the clutch.
Just revved the bastard up, and jammed 2nd.
