I have a 2024.5 rockstar fc250f with 66 hrs. Today, warming it up, i went to rev it lightly and it bogged. If i twist it quickly and don't let off it will die. If i start with the engine rpm near choke speed, it doesn't bog or die. I did the top end 4 hours ago, it started doing it probably 20 minutes ago (engine time)
I have a brand new bike 0.2 hours that i used to rule out the following:
Fuel pump/filter
Ecu
Coil
Spark plug
Throttle body/injector
Air filter
Fuel
My suspicion is timing as i had troubles with the cam chain tensioner , but it seems to run well once it gets past the idle bog. Any suggestions?
Try the voltage regulator.
Thanks for the suggestion.. unfortunately I started removing the engine to replace with my backup... if it still doesn't run, I'll try that as the first next step.
I ended up swapping the motor with a different one and that solved the issue.. now time to crack open the bad one...
