Why doesn’t OB amateur team pick up him? They have 3 brands they could put him on and maybe a path with husky pro since RJ will be moving up soon. Hate to say it but doesn’t seem like anyone they currently have no in A class on the amateur side will be any good or make it. Give long a shot

Cut one or 2 of the 3 A riders they have problem solved. That’s what doesn’t make sense about this sport. Teams ride it out with riders who obviously don’t have it instead of cutting them and moving on. Need to take lessons from star or Redbull f1. You don’t perform at a top level your done.

As much as I'm a supporter of Avery's, I also get it. He's basically ready to go pro, maybe one more trip through futures and combines, but it's pretty much time to move into the pros. If the KTM group doesn't have space on a pro program, it doesn't make sense to invest in Avery for 8 months or so on Orange Brigade and then let him go. The other kids mentioned are much younger and have time to mature at a point where they have space to move up. If they had extra budget, sure, grab Avery for the first half of 2025 in SX Futures and if he kills it, see if there's a home for him, or then cut him loose. However, you don't cut existing long-term commitments for a gamble like that.

Gibson has a path to Rockstar Husky, but Gibson and Clark...I'm not really sure have that clear of a path to pro. They still have time to prove themselves and wait for that pathway to open. Avery doesn't have that time.

Avery's is in a weird spot right now.

Has a Canadian path opened up? He could be a guy that gets some results up north and then potentially wait a year or so for an American spot to open. I could see some good results on a 450 in Canada.

There’s been talks about going to Canada, but that’s Summer time 2025. Gotta figure out January to May / Supercross time.

Would a team like MX101 or KTM or WLTN take him to the Futures? Is there still a spot open at AEO now that McNabb went back to Canada?

KTM Canada full, MX101 and Walton have both reached out but both are Canadian Nationals only and probably 450 deals.

AEO filled McNabb’s position with someone they already had in mind but said rider is now injured….

Anything mentioned in the last page or so, it’s been discussed…but nothing has come yet

I believe they’re full now. Had a short conversation about that one but now they have chambers.

We're all thinking it... We're all hoping you don't do that to yourself ever again😂

Sometimes being in a weird spot is a good thing. We all know riders go down and he may be able to get someplace he otherwise is unable to go. I expect his phone to start ringing at some point. Providing the whole KTM group is not on the streets.

There are people around me who will put me in a straight jacket if I were to do it again.

Is the issue that most these teams outside the factory teams are either bringing people on who are paying for rides or riding for free?

Sorry but if im long im not taking any of those rides. If hes really wanting to race sx/mx i believe he could build a better bike from than what those teams could offer and honestly i bet most them teams you would still pay for most your stuff. Could be wrong but i doubt it. Build a good bike with parts and pieces you know are good and believe in.
