Sure Reed had it won, but if you didn't notice he was beating his bike to death even after he had a minute lead...he is a proffesional who should have known his bike could implode riding as hard and as fast as he rode... he absolutely made the mistake... Even Emig kept saying the mechanics must be scared about the bikes... WHY? because bikes blow up in those conditions and Reed rode it too hard the last couple laps. a fatal mistake by Reed end of story.

I think by Reed jumping the jumps the last couple of laps...we was making it easier on the bike. If you jump over the ponds between the jumps, your bike takes on a lot less water. There were guys that had their bikes blow up that were riding A LOT less aggressive as Reed. I noticed the last couple of laps he was riding better and not hitting NEAR as many deep water holes.

Yes, he is a "PROFESSIONAL" and was riding to win the race.

I have set a bike up to run in water deeper than they had to run in. Did I say one word about mud? Mud didn't get in the engine. It was a mess, but what would you say was the deepest water Chad rode in? I never said i knew more than anyone, but CR's bike croaked and i could set one up to finish that race, no problem. You need to stick to Billybobbin.

Obviously they didn't, unless he was running a steam engine.

Far as I can tell, conditions are part of racing, and so are the effects those conditions have on the machines. Everyone displayed a lot of athleticism, skill, and talent just to ride on such a messed up track, but sometimes shit just happens. KW's luck made it to the end of the race and Reed's did not.

I'd be willing to bet his mechanic got his ear chewed off all night though, his fault or not.

What a bunch of know it all's who wouldn't even be able to make 1 lap....Reed was the fastest rider there...

His bike didn't finish because it broke internally from extreme conditions... ..most likely from overheating.. Plugged radiators on 4 bangers that run hot anyway... duh...
