Hey y'all,
I just replaced the piston and shimmed the valves on my 2022 YZ250FX. In the process I replaced the ram air scoops and completely took the intake tract out as a result.
Bike starts and runs great, ran though a few years cycles. Now upon riding it, it's definitely bogging on hard throttle, especially noticeable on hills.
I checked the fuel line isn't pinched, but I've never had a FI bike bog. I'll take the body off and verify all the electronics are connected, but what else could this be?
Current theory: got crap on the fuel barb on the tank bottom while it was sat on the garage floor and clogged my injector. Gonna clean it and see what's up
Got it out and open with a bench top power supply. Blew it out and used contact cleaner. Didn't see any smoking gun though
Need to ride it to see if that fixes anything. Would love to hear other theories.

Just for giggles I'll check again. I'd be surprised it runs so good if it was off, but I'll do anything at this point

I don't know what you mean by this exactly, but the symptoms you're having sound like it's not getting enough air.
Is it possible that your modification to the air intake could be causing your issues?
Hey folks, confirmed it was the injector.
The lesson is clean off your tank and fuel line after it's been sitting for a week.
