Daytona's Second Practice Canceled

We just got word that the second practice sessions from Daytona were called off due to the heavy rains, [b:2qkiy8zr]but the night program is scheduled to run on its normal schedule tonight[/b:2qkiy8zr].

Would they run the race if there was a tornado warning and very bad lightning strikes?

The AMA rule book says no activity until 30 minutes after last lightning strike. At least that was what it was for Am. races 2 years ago. I dealt with this one personally.
