Saw Allesi and Jared Lesher had CRF 450 front master cylinders on their YZ 250 builds. Looking to get a little more pucker power on my front brakes. I believe Allesi used an 05 setup. I saw a complete setup from a 24 for sale. Not sure what years are compatible or if you need to use Honda brake line ect… Anyone on here do this upgrade on their bike???
Any modern(ish) Honda master will work. Get a brake line from core moto (Honda specific) that is +1” longer. You don't need anything else. Keep your stock caliper and rotor.
It's a night and day difference. Did this on my '16 and now my current '23 YZ. If you really want more after this upgrade (highly doubtful), then get a solid rotor. Stock is floating.
Oh, if you decide to update to the modern 4 stroke front fender and plate, you don't need the extra 1" since the line routes behind. Me last weekend:

What year bike did master come off of? Honda brake lever/line used?

I did the 2010 Honda crf450 front master and a motion pro lever with a Galfer steel braided line for the YZ. I had originally bought the brake line and previously used it.
45510-KRN-A91 is the front master part #

Sorry this is months later, finally getting around to getting this done. I have priced out master and steel braided line. I looked through schematics on Yamaha and Honda. What are the lower part numbers for? Just wanted to get everything needed. Thx
