Losing my mind with my Talon/A60 wheels I had custom built for my 2019 KTM 300. I’m trying to switch the rear (front simple spacer swap) to my new 2024 KTM 300. I’ve ordered the Slavens Racing kit that has new seals to accept the new, smaller, 22mm axle. Pre-2022 KTM has a larger 25mm axle. The axle and spacers now fit but the spacers are all 3mm too narrow. My Talon rear hub has 2 bearings on the drive side. I’ve tried every spacer I can buy on the web but everything is 3mm too narrow. I’m thinking Talon shipped custom spacers for their hubs but don’t know. Seems the collar of the spacers shoulder is where the difference is. Maybe it’s the bearings and tube but those fit into the width of the hub perfectly so can’t be that.
Has anyone swapped their pre-2022 Talon hubs/wheelset to a new 2023, 2024, or 2025 KTM?
Thanks y’all.
PS - the 2024 OEM spacers end up with the same 3mm space as the two other spacers shown in the pics. So far I’ve tried OEM spacers, Slavens kit spacers, and Nacstar spacers for the 22mm axle. All have same gap and bind up the wheel if I tighten the rear axle nut.

There should be a number stamped on your rear hub like this, give talon that number and tell them what bike you have and they should be able to supply you the correct spacers.
Thanks for the reply.
So, I tried that route first, low hanging fruit and all. Dubya sold Talon. When I called they told me they no longer owned the brand and could not help me. They also wouldn’t tell me who bought them so that I could inquire with the new owner! Totally useless. Will never buy anything from Dubya USA again…or any other brand they own.
I’ve reached out to Talon England via the website but get no response.
I know it’s hassle with the time difference but could try calling them. I’m in the Uk and I’ve had your problem before needing new spacers and they sorted it
Thanks, yes, I definitely will call them soon if I don’t get any response to my emails. Thx!

Yep, Everything about the Talon hub is proprietary and not designed to be compatible with OEM specs. Spacers have to be Talon-specific.
PLEASE tell me you solved this issue!!! I’m having the same problem!!! Does talon make 2023+ spacers that fit? If so how did u order them??
I ended up breaking apart an old wheel bearing and cutting a shim to make my spacer 3mm wider. But its not pretty and I don’t trust it. Hoping you found a solution
I believe you can swap it with oem parts, but I ended up calling dubya and they took care of me. Still have a bag of the oem stuff I didn’t use
Yes. Email Matt Shumsky @ Talon at matt@mattschumsky.com and he can sell you the exact spacers you need based on the ID Number on the side of your rear hub. The front is standard and OEM works, but rears are custom by Talon. $20 shipped for the set. They also sell the bearing and spacer kit.
Cheers.
Measure OD of wheel with spacers, measure ID of swingarm fork with caliper mount. That will give you the gap in total MM. You can then visually locate wheel in the swingarm where it needs to be when centered with sprockets. That will give you the MM on each side you need to fill with a spacer or washer/shims. If you have an machinist buddies they can be a big help in situations like this.
