Insurance has gone up for a couple of reasons. One is inflation. It costs more to fix your damage. Auto insurance has gone up in some areas because the area is flooded with illegals who do not drive very well. You are more likely to get in an accident in a town flooded with illegals. Insurance rates reflect that.

I thought it wa a reasonable explanation for some of the increases.
I dont think driving abilities are as much a factor as that either they do not understand how insurance coverage works or simply chose to drive uninsured.
I do feel like the ridiculous prices for simple repairs is the largest contributing factor of the steep rise.
