Awesome club to start out with, made some life long friends and consider myself lucky to have ridden the tracks on the circuit in their prime (in my opinion).. Jolly Roger before it got messed with, 338 with the original layout and the woods fully intact, Claverack and Walden when they were still on the schedule, Winchester, Hemonds and MX207 were all awesome as well.  IMG 0926 0.jpeg?VersionId=TwVvKaIMG 1829 0

Great to revive this thread. It was started in 2009! NEMA was started in the late '70's. And yes, it was an awesome club to get started with. Unfortunately, it no longer exists. I'll never forget those days!

Hey guys ! Toby Jasmin #75 NEMA 1982 85cc expert champion.
Friends and family went to the southwick national this weekend brought back a lot of memories. Someone sent me this link and I have been reading it all day. Decided to join in and chat about old school motocross. I'm not on any social media or anything. After a great start to my motocross career in NEMA I went to NESC and became expert in the 125cc class.
All the names mentioned brought back a ton of great memories. Keith Johnson, Chris Fisher and the list goes on and on and bunch of others I grew up racing with was the best time of my life. I will send some pics and try and stay connected. Not sure if Paul Buckley follows this link. He's an amazing guy and thanks to him I have a ton of great photos of my career that I shared with my kids.

Holy crap! Although this is ten years too late I remember this name like it was yesterday. I remember watching you racing the NESC around 86/87 and thinking "Damn, this kid is fast!" But then you disappeared. I always looked forward to the expert class back then and not many people could come out of the amateur class and go straight to the front of the experts, but you were there and then you were gone. What happened?

Been a long time.  I stopped racing right after high school. I went right into law enforcement. Been a cop since and a mass trooper last 25.  How u been.  Don’t run into too many people that remember way back when
