It’s about time for me to order new tires. This is my first bike in years and therefore first time needing tires in a long time and I don’t have a lot of money to be playing trial and error.

Pretty sure I rode MX33s pretty much 100% of the time in my past riding life but I also rode mostly hard pack like Elsinore, Perris and Starwest.

Any suggestions?

Bridgestone X31’s are a great all-around SoCal tire. The rear runs pretty big, so I prefer 110/90-19’s even on a stock 450. Currently there’s a $50 rebate (preloaded card you get once the paperwork processes) on them through all the major retailers (I’ve had great luck with RMATVMC).

Dunlop MX34’s are also a solid choice, just not quite as durable and the rear may not be quite as good as the ole’ MX33…
