Was RC on the list too? Saw a pic recently referring to him driving one of childress cars in it.

Travis *could* do well in a late model once he gets used to the power. Those rice-burners he's been doing with Subaru are a long stretch from the kinda motors in some LM classes. Well, it depends on whether its a limited class though, there are some slower LM classes also. He's already used to sliding sideways so once he gets used to the large chassis & motor, he could do well.

True, he drives anything well... except for corvettes.

it will be interesting to see who does better, RC with the oval racing experience, or Travis with the Rally Car background,

i would pick RC, i think he will be able to change the car to suit him better,

I vote TP because he always goes balls to the wall all out.

I think travis would take it. He is much more used to being on the edge of control and loose. Plus he has done very well in the ROC races in england running all kinds of different cars.

I know a fair deal about 410's, but not much about late models.......but you do realize those rally cars are not honda civics with 19" wheels right? They are 400+ whp in a 2500 lb AWD package....driven 100+ mph zig zagging through trees on one lane gravel roads. IMHO TP is much more of a race car driver than RC.

I think with a little luck TP might do just fine.

Sure I know those cars arent production models, but those pizza wheels he's used to driving on are a long stretch from some big Hoosiers and a 650+ hp 360. (I doubt they will put them in 410s initially) And yes, I have plenty of roundy-round experience in stock cars and sprints both.

A race between RC and Travis wouldnt be close, Travis should be able to beat RC easily. That asphalt shit ALL goes out the door when you get on dirt.
