From Racer X:

Witness says the arch fell on it's own, trapping one rider and knocking down another. One was Max Anstie. #mx

What the hell? Reason for red flag.

Yes,

Evidently, Red Bull forgot to give the arch wings.

LAME!!! Just sad that a stupid sign takes out a rider(s). I sure hope this NEVER happens to anyone ever again.

Bob, take the weekend off. I'm not sure what your deal is, but you sound like a bitter old...well, a bitter old something.

Lemme know when whatever this is is over, and we can talk about you returning.

Second time this happened so far. I think at a German Championship round it happened for the first time. That's irresponsible!

It was Gariboldi Yamaha's Harri Kullas buried under the arch. He had the worst luck yesterday. He was 2nd in the first moto, when his engine broke and then this..

No. There's a string of other messages in the last week, and a few today that leave me scratching my head.

As an example, what would the infrastructure at GH have to do with anything? My guess would be that it was either Red Bull or Youthstream's crew that would handle something like that?

Look at some of the gaps at the junctions. It looks like they had this cinched down really tight. A little too tight, maybe?

Hope the rider is okay...what a bitch to have the signage fall on your head. Sign must be pretty damn heavy.
