Has anyone here found a solution for installing a fan on the 23 version of the FC350?  Trailtech at one point said they were working on one and it would be available Summer of 23 but that isn't available yet.  I've tried a couple of things including an older KTM fan kit that the KTM dealership said would fit, but it didn't.  I also tried the Tusk Universal Fan Kit but the fan is to deep.  If you have one of these bikes, you realize the stock tank just doesn't leave much room between the radiator and the tank.

I do know that with the Acerbis fuel tank, that a universal fan kit will work, but I really don't want to swap tanks unless it is absolutely necessary.  I imagine the IMS tank would allow a fan to fit as well.  I don't really need the extra capacity though.

I will check them out.  I can tell already by looking at it that the first one on the KTM probably won't fit just due to the size.    It looks like the same one someone else had suggested from EXED. "Exed Parts™ – Original SPAL Radiator Cooling Fan and Mounting Kit for KTM and HUSQVARNA, with Thermoswitch, Dirt Bike Models from 2017 to 2023, 4 Stroke"

I have a feeling the one bike it won't fit will be the 23 FC350 but I will investigate further as I found a good drawing and dimensions for the fan.

I wouldn't say I found a great solution but I found something that has worked.  Trailtech never did release a fan for the stock tank; I think they gave up despite giving me an ETA.

I installed an Acerbis fuel tank, then was able to make the Tusk Digital Radiator Fan Kit work but it is tight.  I have since switched back to the stock tank and I am still able to cram the fan in there but I had to make a few modifications to it to make it work.  It doesn't allow for as much airflow as I would like, but it does work.

So they finally did release something.  Trailtech doesn't show it on their website oddly enough.  I was wondering what they were going to do about the fan itself as that was the limiting factor (the thickness of the fan) and it looks like they sourced a slimmer fan for this application.

Was the tusk top fan mount bolt hitting your tank?

I'll try to grab pics later today, but yes, I recall having to disassemble the Tusk fan a bit so the bolts weren't rubbing the tank.  I know I ended up using some zip ties.  Even then the fit was tight, but it worked.  The electronics on the Tusk fan kit (thermostat mainly) aren't the greatest.  I would install a switch somewhere to completely cut power  or put the fuse holder in an easily accessible place so you can pull the fuse so it doesn't drain your battery.  I have had this happen.

Ok yes, I was going to say that you can grind down the plastic and get an allen head bolt to increase the clearance between the tank but it sounds like you had other problems with the tusk as well.
