No Ernecker? Strange.

He's still young and racing a 125. He's doing well, but maybe they thought the lack of experience was a drawback.

I agree, but Stauffer hasn't raced all season and is coming back from a broken neck I believe.

I just took a look at his Instagram and he raced earlier this month.

Stauffer has been amazing since his return. He's by far the best Austrian rider right now.
SInce his return he won EMX 2T in Loket, 3rd in Gaildorf ADAC including a moto win where he straight up beat Tixier, Nagl and Koch, and last week went 1-1 at the Austrian nationals.

Interesting what will happen to Team New Zealand. Crawford out with wrist injury. Does Natzke take the spot, does he want to take the spot as a “second best choice” rider according to MNZ

I hope Natzke tells them to pound sand and doesn't say yes.

You're right, I've missed that. He will line up in MXGP this weekend.

I saw Team Belgium is going to be the Coenen Brothers and Liam Everts. Is this one of the youngest teams ever for the MX Des Nations? The Coenen brothers are 17 and Liam is 20.

It's pretty crazy. I would have never thought he'd come back that strong. It's like he never got hurt.

Fredsoe on 450? That's weird choice. 🤪

FRA - NED - BEL - AUS - USA are all podium teams...  Might be a couple others too.  That's why we drop the gate and let them race, going to be some top dogs not on the podium.  Probably 8-10 teams that think they can/should top 5....

BEST MX EVENT OF THE YEAR!!!

Belgium is the one team that could podium or completely implode and no one would be surprised either way.

The RacerX article with the mention of a 5pm AMA deadline was 16 hours ago. What time is it now in the States?

Team USA’s lineup for the 2024 Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations is two-thirds of the way to being settled. Newly-crowned AMA 450 Pro Motocross Champion Chase Sexton and his Red Bull KTM teammate Aaron Plessinger are both confirmed for the team’s two 450 spots. Sexton will be the captain and race in the MXGP division while Plessinger will be the Open rider. The event will take place October 5-6 at Matterley Basin in Great Britain. The big question is over whether or not AMA 250 Pro Motocross Champion Haiden Deegan will participate. He is reportedly seeing a doctor today get his wrist checked, as he needs to determine if he needs time off after the season for minor surgery. The AMA has apparently given him a deadline of 5 p.m. this afternoon to make a final decision.

I think Johnny Ringo was on to something when he said make Sexton the MX3 guy. AP is in good shape, but back to back races could be difficult, whereas Chase would probably be ready to go for a third consecutive moto. That’s also why I hope Deegan goes. We know he isn’t getting tired with back-to-back races.

Bad luck keeps following me. I couldn't go anywhere when that rider fell right in front of me, crashed straight into him and got my bike on top of me. Result: a lot of scrapes and burns. Still, those injuries weren't the reason for my forfeit. I could have ridden, but mentally I'm a bit down after all those setbacks. That serious elbow injury, the operations, the difficult rehabilitation... And now this again. This is just too much for me. I have to empty my head first. There's a big chance that I won't ride a GP anymore this year.

MXGP - Domantas Jazdauskas

MX2 - Marius Adomaitis

And the MXGP rider for team Latvia is Mairis, not Mairus.

Any news on why? I thought Vlaanderen is the better pick based of his speed this year.

I guess Vlaanderen's knee injury turned out worse than originally thought.

Fortunately Coldenhoff has finally gotten into good form. Sure a healthy Vlaanderen is slightly better but The Hoff can put in good enough results for NLD.
