I had a small batch DLC coated original WP shock shafts made in Sweden.
These are new genuine WP shafts and DLC coatings have been made in Sweden at the same factory who does the coatings for Öhlins. Quality is at the factory level.
DLC coating is applied to the exterior of the chrome shaft and it is only few microns thick. It is extremely hard and slippery, ideal for shock shaft. More resistance against wear from debris/dirts/rocks and less friction against the seals.

Sorry no, WP does not sell piston rod only for 2023+ models, its only available with clevis as bottom end asembly and it costs too much.
