Great conditions and all four motos were terrific to watch. It should be an awesome season in both classes. After being sick for a week, I'm fried. Time to start sifting through about 1500 images.

Do you think you got any shots that will top the Roncada/Stewart battle ? My all time favorite
Some impressions:
Always great to see and meet people at the races. Great to meet Troy Adamatis (thanks Bauer) and Bowyer. By the time I figured out who they were I didn't get a chance to talk to the McCread brothers. Hope they had a terrific time and felt welcomed.
The racing in every class was intense from the drop of the gate and throughout each moto. Just terrific.
Everts was there and very engaged in practice and especially each moto out on the infield tracking his riders. Heard from someone else the rumor that KTM wants Stewart for next year, which makes sense given their desire to succeed at SX and Stewart's connection to Red Bull. Sidebar: I wonder how much of Stewart's absence is contract based as opposed to purely medical. I have no knowledge of what the contract status is, but thought someone mentioned it expired after Vegas.
Also heard from someone that YS had tried to pitch to both Reed and Stewart deals to do the GP's (which would be brilliant as far as Stewart IMO, the single biggest thing GL could do to leverage an international boost of interest in the GP's). The rumor continued that GL was playing the two off against each other, they figured it out, and both told him to pound sand. Again, rumor.
450's, I think Reed has a bit more than the others at this point. There are a lot of guys who look competitive. Thought Short looked very fast in practice, as to the races, "unlucky" to use a soccer/futbal term. Davi raced really well both motos, all moto. I'd expect J. Grant to pick up speed as the season progresses. I hope Grant L. does; he looked good in practice, nervous on the line, and not so great during the race. Dungey didn't get great starts and stalled it in the first moto. The 450's are a bit like the 250's last year in that it's hard to recover from that into the top three. Reed was hauling the second moto and his third was maybe more impressive than winning moto 1. DeDycker's results should be seen in that context; he held his own very well given that it's not his series.
Both the Hahn brothers looked very impressive.
Personally, thank goodness for cool weather.
250's were equally impressive to last year and, as with the 450's, being in the top ten is going to be an accomplishment and getting toward the top is going to turn of starts. I think that hurt Barcia yesterday. Pourcel's whip at the end of Moto 1 was sick; wish I had been closer for the shot. Tomac is formidable. I think you can assume given his family heritage that fitness is not going to be an issue, as results showed yesterday. Wow.
We're in for some crazy good racing this year.
