Hey guys I’ve posted here a few times about Moto enthusiasts coming out to our property in Pala, California , staying , riding , etc .
My actual business is at a steady/boring place and not quite as busy as it has been the past couple years , so I have some extra time to start throwing these ideas out there again .
I have ten acres here in Pala where I live , with a 2022 StarCraft camping trailer that we allow friends/family/ moto guests to stay in when in town . I’d like to open it up again for anyone looking to travel out this way . I wanted to possibly add things like guided rides, renting out bikes,truck,trailer, etc . I was kind of rabbit holing ideas like taking guests out golfing , hiking , surfing , exploring anything that sparks interest in this area , which I am very familiar with everything so cal . We could set up just about anything for unique , rad so cal experience . There’s a mini bike track on the property , we have a tortoise sanctuary with 15+ giant sulcata tortoises that we adopt and rescue here. Pigs , alpacas , chickens all free range the property . We have a fresh garden and fresh eggs to grab a free breakfast every morning . The property is a very serene , unique place for Southern California .
I know I need to get my ducks more in a row and organized , and have a more professional approach, which I will be working on starting now , but I just wanted to get the ideas out there and see what kind of response it gets .
What kind of things would you want to experience if you were planning a Moto / action sports based trip out to Southern California ? Also what kind of price range would you expect ? This would just be a fun , side project/work that I don’t expect to make much $ off , more so to share what we have, meet cool people, and have some fun.
The biggest thing you’d need is bikes to rent out. That could draw in customers. There’s other place in so cal that do this so look up what they charge and try to be competitive.
