Don't ask that. Its like asking where CIA hide their biochemicals, or who KGB kill during the nineties, or what REALLY goes down in the White House. This info who is going to run the GPs are at similar level of dangerous information. Must be so since no one is telling and we know shit, and reporting/journalism is so absent from MX/SX it's painful.

Gotta remember the guys with the watches all have ties to a rider. No way they want their guy to look bad, even if it was only practice..

You also have to take in to account what each rider was wroking on.. Suspension? Gearing? Fitness? Tire pressure?? G-string or boxers??? You just never know who is working on what.. I don't take a watch for that reason..

Each manfriend protects their guy, I mean that's their job right??

Tnx for the pics, very cool.

Of course they are biased. But this might be as a consequence right here after you went out and said SH looks slow. Also kind of harsh since we know he's a frequent reader and poster here as well no?

Or?

I think the word I used was "rusty," not "slow." I don't have anything to lose or gain by saying he looked like the fastest guy on the track. After 8 months I'm guessing of not riding, to say he came out and had the fastest lap against some of the guys who have been riding all year either says alot about the comp that was there yesterday, or a ton about Sean..

I know he is looking to get a ride, and props to him for being out there all pirvateer status. I have heard the industry guys visit Vital, so saying he has the fastest lap times at the tracks he goes to, may get him noticed by someone with some extra coin. Hope it works out for him. Sorry for giving my opinion on what I saw yesterday, but I stand by it. Wink

that's why you get to post here...you know better than take any of it too seriously.

I say get to because if you were a whiny drama queen, this place would wreck you (as it has a few others)

Keep ripping off the times. We'll be there for you at Freestone.

Who cares till that black and white flag waves at the end of the moto..........Then we will know who was fast and who wasn't..........Everybody comes up with different times...Its like the NFL rookies all run 4.4's till they hit the combine and run 4.6's.... Then without question they run 4.4's again at their proday........Its who holds the watch........And again Pro day don't mean shit.....Just like practise times don't mean shit.....

I do appreciate the comment on "ties to a rider" and "biased" but I hate to dissapoint you I tell it like it is, good or bad.

You will also note that after the times were the statements ( of the times taken), I certainly do not sit there all day timing every rider on each and every lap, but I will watch and time for 5 to 7 laps for a fast lap, that is what you will get.

If you think you are doing a rider a favor by giving him an incorrect time to make him feel good you will find that it will only hurt him in the end.

Be honest with your times, opinions and instruction and the results will speak for themselves.

Have fun kids.

You sure about that..... Yes today was incredible out there for riding until noon or so.. I thought the track was already leaps and bounds better than the National last year!! They are going in the direction needed to make that a memorable race for the GP. For me it was day 5 back on the bike and I couldnt be happier with where I already am and the speed I feel I never lost... Feels like Xmas everyday I wake up to get riding!

I think Malcom could be out there helping bubba out with some suspension set up. Bubba isn't riding at the moment so maybe Malcom is getting a base set up for him to work off of and to go from there.
