The coverage of Canadian mx is great. Maybe the announcers in both CMX and AMA MX have some issues, but thats open to interpretation. I think its cool that CMX shows someone other than the top 3, thats usually where the best racing is! (duh)

X200...I slept(literally) through the Houston race, but was wide awake for the Canadian MX race even my wife watched.

The weird part is they show four motos of racing during the Canadian coverage and I never feel like I'm not getting enough racing coverage, but AMA MX on TV two motos one hour show and I feel like we get more fluff/talk then racing...

Awesome coverage as always. No fluff, and a lot of racing. I suppose it's easy to cut out the "boring" bits of the race when you are packing 4 motos in. I was disappointed to not hear an interview from Saylor after his moto win. The 450 moto 2 was good... I bet Carpenter wanted to have a few words with the lapper whom stopped, literally, in the rut in front of him.

My son and I found a cool club track yesterday. Sandy, lots of sweeper's and off cambers. On the way home he said "dad I felt like I was riding on one of those Canadian tracks." 8)

That's great that Jacob is doing the European Championship ... good luck over there representing us, Jacob!

Canadian MX is good, to me, because it is very much like local racing. It's great to see locals like Nick Evennou out there winning motos on TV! I especially like the close up camera work. Feels like true grass-roots racing action, you can see their numbers when they go by, and they always seem to have a camera at a jump where you can see them fly right over you. I can't get over how funny it is though when the Canadian announcers assert that "the look back" is some kind of serious insult. LOL!

We had a MD session last year where the US production team was taking emails if you'll remember. I hope everyone stuffed their inboxes with useful suggestions.

Canadian MX on Speed has better announcers and better coverage throughout the field.
Hell, seeing Ryan Blizzard getting his name out there a lot was just amazing to see!
The show though was really spotty, there and there, but they did as best as they could with what they are working with.
I just wish the film guys weren't so shaky at times and invest in a tripod or 2.

AMA MX/SX does cover the shakiness but wow, the days of Eckman/Bailey really made it exciting. But since they are out, I'd go with Brian Drebber for a new announcer. That guy has a pure motorsport voice and it's easy for him to make it exciting (remember Stewart and RC battling at Washougal on OLN...he did an awesome job with that!). I do yawn a bit when I watch SX now on TV. It could be knowing the winner a day before hand but some excitement never hurt anyone. But the switch to HD is a huge plus though!

About the announcers:
You hear Drebber and some Pingree (who does an awesome job as well)....but the last 10 seconds are the best.

OH yeah.

Thumbs up for Jacob on the Moto 2 win. Congrats!

But I was bummed for Evennou. He has so much bad luck.

I cant believe the difference in coverage in the Canadian nationals and the AMA ones. They were showing a battle for 31st place! Its cool to see guys like Gibson and Carpenter and Norcal going for the win. These are great riders and are fun to watch just as much as any factory rider in the states. MX is cool no matter who is racing and for what position.

Man, I so dig watching that Canadian Motocross, too !

Can't ever put my finger on it - maybe because many of the tracks resemble the kind of tracks we

run and race locally, or the passionate, frantic announcing or the incredible battles for seventh - or first.

Maybe, too - that for many of us, we're deeply involved with long, bleak, harsh winters and we

dearly miss our (outdoor) motocross. Eh ?

* Wish Jacob Saylor the best, he's a terrific young man.
