I Just got one and its the most fun bike I have ever owned.

Saying that i also owned yz250s multiple yz125s and my last bike was a 2022 sx250

I had a 2017 150sx before and loved it, still the only bike I wish I never sold. My main reason for wanting a 25 150sx was so some parts would atleast be interchangeable with my 350. And as much as i loved that 150, I personally think the newer generation ktms are the best handling ktms ever built, and i've owned a model of ktm every year since 2013.

I’m looking for a stock 2018 SX 125 for a build. When it’s done I want it to weigh in at  under 185lbs with most of it coming off unsprung weight. Two sets of cylinders, 125/150

All i hear is problems with the tbis here in Holland.

They also are like 3 pounds heavyer.

Handling might be better but id go for the reliability and weight and power.

Still your choise though, goodluck!

Why wouldnt you buy a SX250 then to complement the 350? The geos are the same and swapping between bikes would be much nicer than swapping from a KTM to a YZ250. And lots of general parts are the same between the 2-stroke and 4-stroke.

I think I'm actually leaning towards the yz250, it's a proven bike and hopefully be able to pick up a decent low hour second hand one. Might give the new 150 a year and see how they go.

I have thought about it but I had a 23 300sx and really didn't gel with it at all so it has kinda put me off the 250sx. I would really love to ride one but. I've always felt comfortable on Yamaha's and got to spin a few laps on a friend's yz250 the other week and felt pretty comfortable on it right away.
