This one's out of the park-
mandatory listening. Best part- Jim talking about knocking Al Baker on his ass when he showed up to claim Holley's Mugen for Johnny O '.
Plus Holley trained like an animal. Check it out. The 80s were a special time.

Thanks to everyone that listened, please check out the Ross Maeda one for what I think is another great one. That dude, like Holley, has done it all.
Holley had a freaking amazing career...I thought he was just a guy that raced some nationals and hung out at Dirt Bike Magazine. In his era you really had to want it just to earn a living racing a motorcycle- you didn't just win some Loretta's championships and then get a factory ride.
He talks about working laying plaster all day...then doing two 40 minute motos, then going and running five miles, then going home to do push ups and sit ups after dinner.
I haven't checked out the Maeda interview, but I will.
every kid should listen to it
actually every pro should listen to it too
dude has done everything and had fun the whole time
You know, evry time I hear him speak I think of John Madden. Same stuttering and stamering and plain spoken style.
