Grant sent this out to people that are on "Langston Motorsports" group on facebook today.
"I got the “go ahead” from my doctor to start riding three weeks ago and having been getting as much riding in as I can. When I first started riding after this knee surgery I got a bit of a reality check! Unfortunately my knee was not where I was hoping it would be a month after surgery. To put the icing on the cake I caught that bug that is going around. So I was faced with the decision of trying to race the last few rounds of supercross or waiting until outdoor season. I realized that pushing my training to be on the same level with the guys that had been consistently racing supercross every weekend, while testing and training for the outdoor season would be too much strain on my healing knee. I was hoping to even possibly make it back for Houston, but I knew the best thing to do would be to keep riding and training and return when I felt I was strong and would not do more damage to my knee.
I am feeling stronger every day that I have been testing and getting ready for the outdoors. My riding style suites outdoors and I am excited to get back into battles with all the great riders that are in the supercross class right now. This outdoor season is going to make for some great racing!
Thank you everyone for reading these updates. My sister made sure to tell me all the kind words many of you wrote her after her last update. I am truly blessed to have so many great fans and will hopefully be meeting more of you at races in the future. "

I hope he can come back strong in the outdoors and show the boys how it's done!
