Cheapest place for custom graphics?

I'm not sure anyone is going to jump on a request for being the cheapest around.

Email me about what you want and I can tell you what we charge. I believe our prices are reasonable. But we're not "cheap".

Probably not, since that's someone else's design that they are selling, and it's someone's logo. If you were NORML, or officially sponsored by them, that would be different.

Not to downplay the fine folks at Source as I am sure they make some quality stuff......but.

Decal Works not only make nice looking stuff but it also lasts for a very long time.
Nice colors, good design and a very long-lasting product may cost a little more than some but well worth it.

custom graphix are custom. hence the higher price tag. you get what you pay for. i've used Fast Signs before, but i don't know if they're out your way. They were decent.

Try http://www.system6graphics.com. It is a fresh company out of Michigan. Tim Easley and Matt Maximoff are the owners. They are doing our graphics and numbers and the bike looks sweet and the vinal is thick.

vision does good fast/work.

http://www.ozzmods.com they do complete bike kits (shrouds, plates with airboxes, fenders, forks, and swingarms) for $175 or if you just want shrouds its $50. much less expensive than decal, and will actually be custom.

If you want the best stuff on the market though, check out http://www.180decals.com
everything they make is completly custom for each customer, and isnt just a cookie cutter design with logos slapped on it.

Decal Works is working with you on the price and you are still shopping?!? They are the best around, IMO. I am not sure what you do for a living but if you came up with a great idea and someone finds a way to rip your idea off and do it cheaper I bet you would not like to see your idea shopped around.

There is not much difference in these companies making these graphics. Two things seperate them, 1) what printer/plotter are they using? Is it thermal or four color printer or whatnot? 2) what thickness mil lamination are they using, 8 mil or 15 mil? I think places like Decal Work and such use 15 mil as they seem to be thicker and stand up to the abuse longer. These companies are making a killing with these graphics as it only costs about $2.00 a sq Ft to make. So in all, they have about $6-10 in materials in you design while the rest is labor for printing plotting and laminating. Design fees for custom work I hear run near $100 for your first set, thats just for the design, not including the other amount for the graphics. Some places are cheaper on that price some are not, but it doesn't take that long to lay something out. But these guys have to make it where they can because if they are making signs outside of the MX world, they are hurting right now with the way the market is going.

There IS a difference in these companies. DeCal Works is the ORIGINAL. Support the company that supports the privateer.

I have been dealing with Keith lately too. He is very good, and very quick. Sometimes Vision would take a while to get stuff out, that is not the case with Keith. Same quality stuff, just faster!

I'm gonna venture to say that most of us 'in the biz' are getting the same material from the same source. If they are using the best material, they should be at 18mil thick. If they are any thicker, they will actually be harder to install. Anything less than 12-14 mil will suffer dings and look weathered sooner. Yes, there is thinner material available and some companies could and probably are cutting corners. It wouldn't be wise though since they would possibly only be saving only a few bucks by the time material costs get added up, at the risk of giving themselves a bad reputation.

Thermal vs. Inkjet. No real longevity difference for the most part since they are laminating anyways. Some designs will look better using one method while some look better using the other method. A good company will have both options available to them.

It can really come down to who has overhead and who's making the decals out of their garage. The company with overhead will probably give you the better service. The guy in his garage probably has a day job so don't expect the world. This could also go the opposite way. More customers, less personal service. Less customers, better service.

In the end. You'll probably get what you pay for.
