I figured instead of us all starting new threads to post about what we are hearing on the webcast that it would be good to have one thread for all the discussions related to this race.

Actually i was about to comment on Nick's finish. Its about time he got the orange bike up front, i'm glad to see that and i know hes capable of being up front with Kdub, Ferry and the rest. Oh and about the KTM, its a sweet bike!

Great idea.

I want Osborne to step up and do his thing. He's from good stock being here from Virginia.

I didn't get past page one of the greats of states but Virginia's greats are legends.

Like IT just said in the interview, the class is thinning from injury. We'll get to see guys on the podium who typically wouldn't be there if all racers were present. Luckily this hasn't happened so much with the Lites class. That's still the best racing, IMO. Hopefully KW's win gives him a great gate pick, and he gets far enough out front to keep it interesting late in the race.

Jeff Alessi pulled off an 11th in his first heat race back, hopefully he gets through the LCQ and has a good main.

On a funny note, it looks like it is just the nature of the sport to have someone out front winning by a big margin, look at the results from the KTM50 race, the kid C. Harrison won by like 23 seconds!! And the AMA wants to build tracks that will tighten up the racing? Haha, they got quite a challenge on their hands!

Jeff is putting in some really strong laps! What is up with Ryan Clarke, seems to be having a terrible year.

Lites main event about to start. This is going to be a very good race, a lot of things can change for Dungey and Lawrence depending on what happens in the next 30 minutes.

Darn. That guy who does the reporting with Weigandt always seems to be right with his predictions about Lawrence. Dungey having some bad luck, can't believe that.

What the heck, Dungey down AGAIN!! I think he is too anxious for the win and its messing with his mental strength, not only during the race right now, but even before in his interviews he seems frustrated compared to his positive bright attitude he had early in the season.

Yeh Lawrence is definitely a character. Good to see hes showing what hes capable of.

Now its time for the V8s (450s) to race. Would love to see Ferry and Windham out front after the first turn.
2/9/2008 9:38pm
Odds on Windham? We need a race tonight....go K-Dub
