Gavin is out in Cali as we speak getting his navicular fixed.
He crashed doing some testing on the KTM and the ER doc missed the fracture.
He kept having pain in his wrist so we said it was time to get another X-Ray.
The doc found a fracture.
I have not spoken with him in a week or so.
I know he has been doing some riding schools at Buffalo Creek here in Texas for the last 3 or 4 months.

If anybody remembers back in 07 when he was doing good his mechanic Dave Derosia was hit by a car walking from TLD. Well, Dave is doing much better and said that Gavin hasked him to come back.
Dave is not ready for that yet buty he is doing much better. I would like to see them back together because they work good together and I think they could be back in the top ten if they did.

Gavin is having the Navicular surgery today. They are expecting 8 to 12 weeks off the bike. In the meantime he is training some guys here in California until the end of April and then heading back to Texas to continue training some other guys there.

Just talked with Gavin on the phone and the surgery went well. They had to take a small bone graph from his arm, but all is well. He is going to hang out in Cali until his pins are removed and then the doc is going to cast it and he will head back to Texas.

Thats good news. My son and I have been a fan of his for a long time. It would be cool to see him get back on a bike and race the outdoors.
