I have a 2016 rmz 250 that ran good and the next day wouldn’t start. I can get it to spark one time then have to stop kicking for 15 seconds and can then get it to spark one time again and the same thing happens. Put a new plug, disconnected the kill
Switch checked the coil and boot resistance and it metered out good. Hooked up diagnostic tool and it showed the to sensor. Replaced that and now shows no faults but still will only spark a single time then have to stop kicking for about 15 seconds to get it to spark again.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This thread leaves a lot to be desired. I'm working on a 2020 rmz250 with a similar issue. It will only spark about every 8th kick. What ended up being the problem on yours? I've traded basically everything but the wire loom off a 2023, to no avail. The 2020 still sparks only every 8th kick or so. Any ideas?
If you get desperate I have the ECU and GET tuner off my 20 hr. 20 available, I went for a Twisted Vortex.
Pull flywheel and check woodruff key

I'll check that. Thank you!
I'll keep that in mind. Thank you!
The manual has a procedure for hooking up a 12v battery in place of the condenser. I would do this and test for spark to rule out the condenser.
Having the same problem. Did you ever fix it?
