According to KTM, they're full speed ahead with Mike for the outdoors.

I have heared from a # of inside sources that he's off KTM..if that's so, I hate to say it but his dads not helping..I've met them numerous times..mikes a great guy as is tony he just wants to be in charge instead of mikes current team.

I'd prefer see him on the bike he's been practicing on for awhile (Especially since it comes with an appearance at the GP) but I'll take whatever at this point. No slight on the Ryans keeping it real indoors.

They've been talking for awhile, the two Mikes just haven't agreed on price. Mike Genova would prefer a contract that's more performance driven, while the other side wants a fat salary, also. My guess is they'll meet somewhere in the middle and the Alessi clan will be reunited again.

you know, internet rumors are a dime a dozen. However, this Alessi vs KTM thing has been passed around so much and gotten so much exposure that you would think that either KTM or the Alessi clan would pipe in to denounce the rumors if they werent true. The fact that we have heard nothing, says that there is some teeth to the rumors and the 2 parties a re listening to their lawyers and not saying a word. Seems like in "contracts gone bad" disputes, the 1st party to open their mouth is the one that loses.

Like Guy B said, KTM has gone on the record a few times saying they are all for Mike this summer.

"people" are telling me that Mike Alessi to Motoconcepts is "done".. about 2 hours ago via web

Isn't Motoconcepts the team that was catching some flak for going through riders?!?!

I think it will be funny if Mike gets on the YZ450... Suddenly we'll be hearing him tell us that IT is the greatest bike ever, not that other thing that he couldn't ride but Cairoli somehow could hahaha...

He just needs to grow up, be a man and do it himself... It's so funny to me that he won't do it... What's gonna happen?! Tony will cry!?! Whatever... He'll be fine...

Hey Mikey, we know you read this shit... Why don't you just try it... Worked for just about every other rider, why don't you just give it a bash, a season with Tony just as a supporter on the sidelines and maintaining your track... not your manager/standover man!?!?!

In fact, go rent a place in florida and get away, just to see what happens... might be interesting..

Poor Jeff.. He is probably thinking why can't I just do my own thing away from DAD. He should of never let Mike ride his bike that day when they were out practicing...

Why can't people understand that Cairoli's bike was a lot better than Mike's?

Fact is history repeats itself, and until mike changes something in his program its going to keep repeating. mike either needs to start his own team with tony or cut tony loose

What kind of "Factory" support does Motoconcepts get? Doesn't really seem like a step up going from a full factory ride to a satellite team.Huh

Cairoli was riding a full works bike. In Europe, KTM's win every moto. In America, you won't find one in a 450 main event.

Great news , this should open up a couple spots on KTM for a couple of great riders .

I believe Mike is on the downhill side of his young career anyway .

You don't think that it matters? Their bikes have no development.

He is a great rider. His results aren't up to par. I noticed that he seemed to man up when he raced in the MXDN. He was probably getting some parts.

Masonry I thought you were being facescious but are you serious?!?!

That was a full works bike, as was the bike he is meant to ride in the states...

It's obviously not that bad as Tommy Searle's 250 is quick...

Facts most likely are Tony doesn't like something and is rocking the boat... And Mikey needs to take charge, but he won't, he's a mental puss...

You can't ride a full works bike in the states. He was practicing on the bike he would be racing in the Nationals.

you think maybe he was just more comfortable with his gp style surrondings, its not all about parts
