I was being sarcastic. This trial is such a fuck job. How is President Trump supposed to prove he is innocent when judge juan merchan will not let the defense’s witness testify? You know, the guy that says no crime was committed.

The judge in the case is allowing Trump to attend his son’s graduation. He never said he would not allow him to do so. Trump, however, of course lied to everyone and said he wouldn’t be able to go, and many of you here repeated those lies.

Speaking of Trump lying, he bitches all the time about how he needs to be campaigning and not in a court room. But he’s played golf all day the last three days he’s had out from court. Almost like that’s complete bullshit too. Hmm. Today I guess he had rallies planned, so we will see if he goes through with them. Last one he made all his loyal fans stand in the rain for hours before canceling and not even showing up. On brand for sure.

Your disdain for the guy is quite freaky. What color are his underwear on sex night? Ever notice that the one thing all of you have in common? You’re voting against someone instead of for someone. You do it out of emotion instead of what is practical. Key difference. I don’t care which way you slice the pie, the 4 years before Biden were much better than the 3 years under him. When you judge the “leader” on what they did for this country instead of who they are then it makes sense. Taxes, fuel, groceries, goods, services, security, city crime, foreign affairs. Care to tell me which one is better than it was?

So the Stormy Daniels story was published in 2011. And now Alvin Bagels is saying that Trump paid to keep it from the public in 2016? But it was already in the public domain. So the payment was for what? If it was in the public domain in 2011, Trump couldn't have been hiding it. Now where's is this grand conspiracy? I'm so confused.

We already know this is a one sided event to "get Trump". We already know they don't care we know. Their whole strategy is to keep Trump in a court house so he CAN'T campaign. And draw down his financial resources so he CAN'T campaign.

One of the biggest examples is the judge refused to let a former head of the Federal Election Commission testify as an expert witness because he said the payment to Stormy did not constitute a crime. There was NO campaign violation. Without that, the whole case goes bye bye. Why wouldn't the judge let him testify? It would be inappropriate to let him tell the jury "there was no crime" which would kill the case. And folks still refuse to believe this is a sham. The title of this thread really is accurate. The trial is what's criminal, hence "A criminal Trial"

I must have missed that, when did the judge rule that?

Bradley Smith was employed by Trump's defense as an expert witness and may testify as an expert witness, but not a lay witness, there is a difference in what each can say...

Man you truly show your ignorance every time you post.

Would you like me to bring up what life was like for all of us four years ago? Yeah we are all better off now.

The tax code literally hasn’t changed. We are still under the “Tax Cuts and Jobs Act” tax code passed by Republicans in 2017.

Crime is literally down nationwide.

Yes inflation sucks. Groceries fuel etc. all included in that. Do we want to give the POTUS credit and blame for all of the economic stuff? If we do, let’s credit Trump for the low fuel prices during the pandemic and blame him for the record job loss, economic recession, and the stock market crash. Let’s also credit Biden with the record job creation and the stock market boom, and blame him for the post pandemic inflation numbers. If we don’t, let’s say that Trump had nothing to do with the low gas prices during inflation because everyone was staying home, and not blame him for the record job loss, economic recession, and stock market crash. Let’s also not give Biden credit for the record job creation and stock market boom, and not blame him for the post pandemic inflation numbers. Which would you like to choose? You pick. Either Trump failed at every level and left office with record high unemployment, an economic recession, stock market crash, and more jobs lost than anyone since Hoover, or you accept that the low gas prices were due to a once in a century pandemic that halted most of the fuel consumption toward the end of his term, thus reducing demand, causing gas prices to be low. Your call.

So explain why he's not allowed to tell them it was not a crime. Fact of the matter is if they listed it as a campaign expense, you'd be crying foul, using campaign funds to pay off Stormy. It wasn't a campaign expense and therefore no crime. And Alvin Bagel has no authority of federal law to call it a crime. And the federal folks decided it WASN'T a crime. The only crime is the trial.

I don’t really get overly involved in politics but, after reading this, script maybe, it’s off.

The officer that came out when my daughters car was stolen for the second time said, crime is up 150%.

I’m paying $5.15 for regular unleaded gas.
it was $3.25 four years ago.

Record profits for corporate stock holders while wages remain the same for blue collar guys.

With Trump in office, jobs didn’t decrease until Covid hit . Now, jobs are starting to grind down to a halt in construction. I have maybe 7 months left of work before, the probability of working for myself or, jumping ship increases significantly.

Every penny is being squeezed out of Americans. Usually, each year I’d pay about $450 in taxes. This year, I paid $1550. For what? Nothing changed in my dependents or, deductions. Best part it’s, I only worked 6 months last year. How does working half the year equate to paying 3.4 times the amount I would normally pay after a full year of work?

$1550!!! That’s two titanium axles and, other miscellaneous  hardware I wanted.

He will come back with the dumbest shit possible and a chart yanked off of the white house website to show how GREAT our country is doing. You know the same ones who constantly change the outlook of our economy, the metrics used to look at inflation the inflation goal post etc. But we should still believe those who give us that information

Your call.

Just change the heading on that chart from inflation to profits and, it all makes sense. 😂

Four years ago the price of gas went down due to COVID causing low demand, inflation adjusted, the current price is similar to the early 80s...

image-20240502150847-1

The reason prices went up in the early/mid 2000s was demand from China...

I’m not sure where he got that 150% from. Maybe that’s a local number. Nationally, it has dropped each year from 2021 onward.

Inflation and gas prices suck. They truly do. Nobody is going to dispute that. How much the POTUS is responsible for it though is where people go awry. Corporate profits are at record highs. This is capitalism.

From 2013-2020, regardless of POTUS, the economy was adding jobs and unemployment was falling.

As far as your taxes go, that I am unsure on. I know a few pandemic era tax credits and deductions expired after Congress couldn’t come to an agreement to continue them. That could be the culprit but I’m not sure.

Hoping the best for you. It’s tough for a lot of Americans right now.

Anyone care to inform Mr. Narrative about the FBI’s statistics and how their calculus was proven false?

It is my understanding the crime statistics only count felonies. The liberal DA’s in the blue cities, where crime is out of control, downgrade felonies to misdemeanors or dismiss them altogether. Unless your name is President Donald J. Trump. In his case they charge him with felonies upgraded from misdemeanors, or create them out of thin air.

Oh, it gets better…there’s plenty of info available on how the FBI f’d the stats up.

Some folks may need to learn to use Duck-Duck over Google…so, there’s always that…but, I digress. Laughing

Thanks for the down vote, but for example, in CA someone can steal every day and as long as it is less than $1000, it is a misdemeanor and is not counted in the crime statistics. I guess you are ok with bullshit like that because it helps your narrative.

Dude, their down-votes are pure gold! I’ve got a few of’em that follow me around and even hit all my Moto posts with that little angry “tap”…hence, I commonly reference them as “My Rent Free Fan Club”.

From “Mulit-screen-name” angry little narrative spewers to the infamous opinionators that certainly don’t want our opinions to be shared in an open forum…all of it…especially noting one of them that even removed other peoples posts at his own “Asylum” simply because they ran counter to his narrative…no, I not kidding…even Scientific American, The Lancet, National Institute papers and links…all…removed by that lunatic; because, HE KNOWS BETTER!

…and he’s still here under yet another name…telling his same lies…spewing his same shit…same kook…

Pure Gold. Laughing

Yep, knowing you pissed off some frontwiper is worth staying here and posting up about things we see all around us in the real world, as opposed to living in front of a cable news channel, or government website.

It’s tough for a lot of Americans right now.

....and it was substantially "less tough" under a previous President (that's the point that you missed).

The point you missed is that Trump did not turn a knob to make the stock market crash, cause unemployment to sky rocket, and plunge us into a recession. Biden did not turn a knob to make inflation insane as the economy recovered from the stock market crash, high unemployment, and the recession. If you want to blame Biden for inflation, then also blame Trump for the hundreds of thousands of people who died from COVID, the horrible job numbers at the end of his term, and the stock market crash. Just be consistent is all I ask.

Ok, then tell me what caused it all. Was it the market? Was it greedy corporations? What is causing our shit economy? What is causing inflation?
