Hey guys, been searching but can’t find the correct answer?

Will 2021 yz125 forks fit a 2006 yz250 two stroke? I have Xtrigs on my 2006 that say they can fit 2006-2021 yz250 forks. The yz125 forks are the same correct? Length and width wise?

I’ll be getting them revalved for my weight. Only asking because a buddy is giving them to me and they are anodized black w/ black dlc lowers.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Measure the fork OD where they clamp.

I think the 2 strokes came with the 48mm forks (same as 4 strokes) starting around 2015.

You'll also need the new axle, or spacers.

Yes they will fit. If your taking the clamps too; you will need to swap steering stems. Then depending on which front wheel your using, you will need to use the axle and spacers.

The forks will fit your 2006 clamps and they have the same lug offset, etc.

What you'll find is that the 2006 brake caliper carrier will not bolt onto the new fork lug.
You need a 2008 and later caliper carrier for any YZ125 - YZ450F model.

This is a good opportunity to upgrade your ancient 2006 brakes.

Grab an aftermarket 270mm rotor since it includes that caliper carrier.
I've run the Tusk, Braking and Galfer 270mm kits over the years...
The Galfer SKW 270mm (non-floating) is superior in performance to the others and I run them on every bike I own now.

If you're still running the stock 2006 YZ front brake hydraulics, consider replacing that with a 2008 or later CRF250R / CRF450R complete system.  If you run the OE Honda pads that Honda/270mm combo will out perform Brembo stuff and give better modulation.
