I wanted to ask the same question. Respectfully, probably 99% of us were not aware he was back in action by him self!

I love when Kenny talks Moto, and bikes but it always seems to turn into party stories.

No one asked me but, since Kenny started inside the rut I wanted more and went back to some of the early PulpMx shows. Here are some observations.

Matthes has a great ability for recognising interesting characters and platforming them in a mutually beneficial way (see ogKW, Filthy Phil, ARay, and to a degree darkside). Kenny is a great communicator and in the early days of pulp was able to create an atmosphere where riders and industry people would let their guard down and offer up gold. This was instrumental in Pulp show getting traction and made it so enjoyable. The only thing close at the time was Dmxs radio which was also great but had a completely different intention and scope.

Listen to PulpMx episode 10 (with Brian Deegan and Windham) and episode 22 with Kyle Regal’s stepdad Mark Pellegrino. Absolute banger episodes and there no way they happen without KW. 

Watson is a legend, never been scared to say what he thinks and also speak up about heavy issues like pain killer addiction and other substance abuse problems.

Can you post a Spotify link? When I search I can only find the Whisky throttle ones (which I’ve already listened to 😅)

I was watching a doc on Netflix a few days ago and they touched on the organization that Kenny grew up in.  Freaky deaky shit.  The doc is called The Program.

Then Kenny came in and basically showed everyone how much better radio is when you’re loose and care free. The guy really helped 180 that show. It was pretty corny before he showed up and then it turned into something totally different and Matthes really fed off it literally and figuratively. They were a great radio duo really.
Kenny couldn’t stand that the shows were 5 hours from what I remember and you could count on him start to throw a fit around the 4 hour mark of every show like clockwork haha.

I think you're spot on, the earlier shows when it was just Mathes and Linsey were a bit cringy and bland and I think that's the way Linsey wanted it. Then enter KW, turned that show around completely, went way off Linseys script and took it in a completely different direction and turned the pulp show into a MUST listen to show and Mathes ran with it.
