Just imagine yourself walking in and snagging another Yami or walking in and snagging an RMZ or other model. What makes you feel more excited? Like others said, it really depends on what you're after and what your plans are for the bike. If you go for the RMZ and plan to leave it completely stock then you might be disappointed but if you plan to upgrade some things (like it sounds) then it's a harder decision.

My RMZ honestly turns as well as my previous 2-strokes and that was big on my list of wants. I also got more and more into the idea of an RMZ once most people wrote them off and called them old POS bikes. I had also never had a bike modified by a reputable builder and she barks.  Several people have asked if it's actually a 250 after hearing it on the track. Also, coming from several KTMs, I enjoy being on the RMZ aluminum chassis. I don't feel ill effects after getting the suspension properly sprung for me.

I always respect people who go out, buy a new bike, leave it alone and just put hours on. I can never do that, I want to tinker in the garage and change stuff.

I loved my 2022 RMZ250, I had a 2016 RMZ250 and loved that too, beside the air fork. I would never hesitate to buy a brand new zuki again.

Just my 2 cents as I said, take it with a grain of salt. You might not feel the same things I do ya know.  But I'd think you be going from the best all around bike in the class to my personal least favorite bike.

I think buying the same generation 2022 or 2023 that is low hour or new if you can find, would be a much more fun than saving a few thousand.  Unless money is tight, then yes get the RMZ.

Money's not really the issue, I was kinda wanting to try something different. I thought if I could buy the bike, a pipe, suspension setup, and yellow wheels (RMZ's are the best looking bikes with yellow wheels imo) for around the same price as the new yz I'd be pretty happy. Obviously I wouldn't want to do that if it was taking a huge step backwards but I figured all the modern bikes are good enough for 95% of us

You might love the RMZ, just giving my 2 cents.

If you want something different and money is there, why not try Triumph, KTM or Honda?

MAN,THE GUY WANTS A RMZ,WHY ARE YOU KEEPING INSISTING OTHER WISE

If you read my reply, “For sure, I mean if thats what you want to do, then enjoy it and do it ya know.

There's no right or wrong.  We are here just giving you our 2 cents because you asked for opinions on, "Am I crazy for considering the suzuki?"

Hahahha, next time I’ll just agree with people and not give my opinion. Silly
