The Medicare system here is not faultless by along shot.. but I think it seems to work.. We do have a small medicare levy on our tax and if you have private healthcare the govt gives you a rebate of some description. I dont know much else about it but I can go to the hospital and if any of my family is hurt and not have to worry about a huge bill.

Do you use the public or the private health care system in CR?

Health care is something important to people, so nothing would happen, they would stop building roads, cut army costs and other things before they even thought about closing the hospitals.

Yep, you dont need an army when you have the USA to bail your ass out when Hilter type fuckers show up.

What is your average tax rate ? I remember some Germans telling me something like 46% but that was 20+ years ago and who knows their situation, but I do know they were not wealthy.

Actually the Swedish army is in Afghanistan and Iraq now and has suffered some casualties, the country that has suffered the most casualties per capita is Denmark I think, so many countries are in Afghanistan and Iraq due to oil. As it is now, you need us to help you, lets face it, which is ok, we are all part of NATO. Hitler was long time ago and Hitler was not in Sweden, just saying.

So you are saying it is a non issue and you are LYFAO?? I would like to see you saying that to the face of the families of the dead swedish soldiers and to the families of dead soldiers from other countries. So Hitler invaded Sweden, really or I should thank you and give up my healthcare because he didnt, you make no sense dude? My grandfather was a soldier at the boarder, not once did he have to shoot his guns, not once did he meet any german, russian or american soldiers. He might have seen some germans, but no Americans as far as his binoculars could reach.

You wanna rattle sabers about guns too this morning? Cmon, tell me again how Im an armed devil and gonna kill innocent people with my evil guns.

Tottaly agree with Racer92, if all the Countrys the US helped out in time of need asked its people the give somting back in return like a US tax or somthing like that you guys would be in a posistion to have great health care for you all and more left over for more hand outs and help outs , im Irish by the way and thanks for the help in ending our troubles so our kids can grow up without the chance there dad wont ever come home.
Like if our government were to say a US tax of say $10 a month from each and everyone was to be levied id be all for it.

I love it when someone gets called out and then says they were just fishing followed by trying to change the subject.

Called out? For what? Stating the obvious? Do you really think Sweden, on its own, could defend itself against a major-league evil-doer on this earth? A full on invasion? We have 3-times more people in Texas alone than Sweden entirely. They dont hafta worry about blowing mega bux on defense because they have allies who are doing it for them.

If we took the gloves off we coulda handled that stuff just fine. The reason those campaigns are/were problematic is full-on warfare with collateral damage isnt acceptable anymore.

You were called out as an ignorant american. You said soldiers lives are non-issue and just for shits and grins. You think you dont need anyones help, yet people from all over the world are helping you and paying with their lives and taxmoney, that taxmoney could go towards better healthcare instead. Fortunately as I started to say, healthcare is the last thing the government would take away, they would rather stop building roads or stop getting you cheap oil.

Tell the people who work and die for that army, that the army is a non-issue and just for shit and grins. You also complain that the Swedish army couldnt do shit if an evil doer attacked, but neither could the US army, which is kind of obvious, since we are there having to help bailing your asses out. Look at Nam, you couldnt even handle a bunch of farmers. Sheesh.

War is no longer fleets of tanks and bombers raiding a country, especially when that country did not attack us. Warfare in this day and age is heavily reliant on personnel, and our forces aren't what they used to be. 7 million kids play Call of Duty every day, but will grow up to be too lazy to join the military.

Funny, my kid played Call of Duty yet grew up to be a Marine officer with a 300 PFT. Lazy isnt in his vernacular.

I just wish Bush was still around with his Christianity and his rightwing politics. He understood that healthcare should only be for the rich, white and christian people. No lazy workers, no hillbillies, no non christian immigrants and no retards should get free healthcare, its not the rich peoples fault that god punished these people.
