Have James watching the entire track, with a camera directed by him. As the race is unfolding he can capture critical and interesting events/racing. Adding his commentary, it would be fantastic race coverage. Using his content in screen box.
So cool to see RC giving MC huge respect, and their interaction was good shit.
Why would you need a camera on him, let him speak, but SHOW THE RACING !
I had a random thought yesterday somewhat related to this...
DV/Stewart/Blair - those guys should do a Patreon race day live commentary of the races. At least the main events. I mean each could do their own, not together.
I know I'd pay $5 each week or whatever to put my Peacock feed on mute and listen to them instead. Problem is we still have the issue of the camera direction.
no camera on him, he directs precisely what is being filmed by the cameras in his direction in real time. edit on the fly just like a replay and James says : watch my boy Levi get smoked by Joe, saw that pass planned last lap" etc
been some great racing behind the front, plus these teams that pour so much into lining up can get brief exposure
