I am heartbroken over the news of Jessie Masterpool losing his young life. Most on here will have someone die within their family usually a grandparent, parent or distant relative. But to have a child taken from you is the most unbearable pain anyone can suffer. You will never get over it. You will work and try to find things to keep you busy, you will pray that something will come to ease the pain, you will contemplate taking your own life but in the end all you are left with is the beautiful memory of the child you and your wife raised and loved till he or she was taken from you. No one can understand what it is like unless you have been there. You will never be the same as a piece has been removed from your soul and the only solace you will have will be knowing that you will be with them someday.
I am so sorry for the Masterpool family to have to go through this. Whatever you believe in please pray for the family that is left behind for they are the ones who will continue to suffer from this day forward. Young Jessie is in a much better place.

I know the feeling.. I lost my brother when I was 16, he was 18... Nothing can or will take the pain away, but somethings do help. For me, it's riding motocross.. I feel horrible for the Masterpool family, and for all of his friends, relatives, sponsors, and competitors. "It's times like these we learn to love again." RIP Jesse.

You and I have something in common. Losing a sibling sucks.....losing a child is unimaginable.

It will be 7 years in May for us. Like you said though, and Mr. Gerkey previously posted.. Losing a child is the worst pain. Both my Mother and Father have continued to go on with their careers, but to them, nothing will ever be the same. We have lost a sibling, and to many people out there right now, they are probably feeling the same way with the loss of their brother Jesse.

Too many young riders and people leaving us too soon..

Well said MXtrainer. I have a son that is a cancer surviver and he was in the hospital for over a year and in that year I got to see alot of familys loose there children and its such a sad thing to see that it makes you wonder why things like this have to happen.
As I watched the videos of Jesse I thought to myself,How could this happen to such a nice kid? he seems so nice and such an honest and down to earth kid.
Then I remember what my grandmother told me when I lost my grandfather.

God must have needed another special person in heaven so thats why I took grandpa.

RIP Jesse.
