Nah. I just believe this thread was the breakout thread for the fanboys lurking around him.
I understand, it's painful for the non-believers to acknowledge his talent. There have been Bob Hannah and Jeremy McGrath Fanboys, RC Fanboys, James Stewart Fanboys and now there are Jett Lawrence Fanboys, only difference is he's an Aussie. I'm not afraid to admit it, he's incredible to watch for his young age, literally the perfect rider on a dirtbike, what the Hell is not to be a fan of. Nothing to get Butthurt about, you should try some of this.
I agree with practically all you said, really…I just believe you can tone down a notch.
Nobody is holding a gun to your head to enter the Jett Zone, I suggest you avoid it and read other threads to save yourself some Heartache.

It is amazing to watch. How he just gaps guys so quickly. I was working during the first 2 mains so I wasn't able to watch as closely as I would normally. But I did notice how he looks like he will learn where he has an advantage and the weakness of the guy in front of him and then uses that to pass and pull what feels like an instant gap. He also seems to catch the transitions of the jumps just perfectly more often, and is on the gas sooner going on the landings. Other riders go a little long or short , more often than him. And that helps him.
I enjoy trying to see the little things that help guys be faster. So even if there is not a battle for the win, seeing those things makes it enjoyable to watch .
My mother is 79, and she became a fan after seeing James Stewart 's incredible ride on the RMZ . I think it was in Canada, She used to tolerate the races while my Dad and I watched. But she saw James and how amazing he was riding that night, and has watched almost every race since then! My dad passed away a couple years after that race. My mom and I now spend every saturday night watching the races together. Sometimes she even will have Raceday live playing . SHe has been saying that Jett looks like Stewart did at times. And she has become a big fan of Jett's. She's also a Malcolm Stewart fan. She was a photographer for the local medium sized Newspaper back in the day. And She brought me as a newborn to work at the stadium in Foxboro to take photos of Patriot's games , and other New England sports events. But I fell in love with MX .
I'm a fan of pretty much all of the guys in the 450 class now days. And I have said similar things about James stewart , Windham, RC , RV and others to a lesser degree.
I don't understand the dislike for people pointing out the cool little things he or other riders are able to do that set them apart. Or really the strange deal with so many people on this site spending so much time in threads about stuff they dislike. I'm on some other message boards and they are smaller, more niche , but almost nobody that is a constant poster in topics they dislike. Like the poster MXaddict said, " Its a big board" . There is something for everybody.
I get it posting every now and then on a topic You dislike. But just saying You dislike that thing over and over gets old too.
Also I was blown away by Coty Schock showing up and doing pretty well, even crashing and still finishing top 10 after surgery 6 days earlier. I've never broke a collarbone, plenty of other bones though. And I went to work with a freshly busted radius and ulna the next day. Operating Heavy equipment. But I could not imagine racing so soon. He is impressive!
