Not sure why Daytona folks felt it was necessary to make changes this year…but the changes are less than ideal.
It’s 12:15 and these are the three massive lines *still* waiting to get in. Stands are empty. A-riders have already had a session…and we all missed it.
By far the most inefficient Daytona SX since 2014.
That sucks. I can’t remember waiting very long ever at Daytona.
It’s unbelievable.
Missing what will be at least 1.5 hours of action.
it’s unacceptable. There obviously is a better way considering this is the first year in 10 years I’ve ever seen it this way. It’s always a breeze to get in…and the only wait is for the pro pits to open at noon.
Is that line if you already have tickets or is that the line to purchase tickets?
Look at all that concrete. Shouldn't they put down mats or dirt in case someone falls?

As for the lines....welcome to the new America, where noone wants to work. Restaurants with staffing issues, grocery stores with 1 checking lane open....it's everywhere now.

I know or at least think I know Feld doesn’t run Daytona but it took me an hour to get into Arlington last weekend at 11:30 because they only had 2 security lines open. Must be a common theme this year.
During Dunlap track walk Staton and Broc were taking biggest fan turn out ever, sold out! Guess the Daytona staff did not get the message, Or can’t find people to work🤦♂️
It is a security measure for your protection.
They feel that no person with terrorist intentions would stand in line that long.
You are welcome...
