i remember in '83, i showed up at daytona sx, and it was cold as all get out. it was pure luck that i had a jacket in the trunk, i let the chick i was with wear it, she still complained the whole time.

so i go and buy a official, bonifide, certified 25th anniversary daytona 200 knit stocking cap. 25 friggin dollars, but i needed it, i was cold. you know what, that was the best darn knit cap on the planet, i lost it somewhere over the years, wish i still had it.

at '87 daytona sx, another nasty weather event, i bought a ice cold cup of coffee and the nastiest hot dog known to man, paid like 6 or 8 bucks.
