In the article above, RacerX interviews Ryan Dungey and pose the following question:

"I think a lot of people can identify with having someone around whom you don’t like and who causes you trouble every time he’s around, and that can be annoying – especially when you’re trying to be serious and get a job done."

Sounds like Steve Matthes is the J-Law of RacerX - no wonder they parted ways. But then I could just be reading into the article a bit too much Smile

I think you're reading way, way too much into that. Steve is still a good friend and colleague to all of us. He caused a bump in the road here and there, just like Ping and just like myself, but that came with Steve's style, and it was well worth it.

I'll agree with that, but, I'll read his stuff no matter where he pits out of. I love how you can tell the guy loves the sport as much as we do, and pulls a check doing so.
