I thought I would tag on and add some additional information/observations to @ML512 excellent "First Look | 2025 CRF450RWE..." feature.
The 2024 HRC CRF450RWE. I will focus on the frame, swingarm, exhaust, shock, and engine covers/case.
Unique to the 243 (Tim Gajser) machine is the swingarm. The swingarm is works HRC part in contrast to the OEM swingarm used by the 70 (Ruben Fernandez) machine. Tim's swingarm closely resembles the type of swingarm used on the 2017-2020 CRF motorcycles (flatter side profile).
Obviously a big change is the frame. A evolution of the "new" frame first seen on the 2023 HRC CRF450RWE. Now the 2024 bike has what looks like a frame designed from the start to accept the new subframe mounting points and the new airbox design. Contrary to what was written in the VitalMX "First Look" feature, the main frame does not have "three mounting points on each side for the subframe". The upper most "tab/flange" on this frame is purely used as a fuel tank resting point. I believe the confusion is a result of this part serving a double purpose on the current generation CRF (fuel tank mount/subframe mount). There is also a new carbon fiber box located behind the battery box. Perhaps a new ECU location or Data Logger?
Two things caught my attention in this photo. First, another look at the new carbon fiber (just guessing on the material) box hiding behind the vent tube. Second, look at the area between the chain and vent tube (swingarm pivot/engine mounting point) It looks like some extensive modification has happened here... Not a clear picture but I'm seeing additional CNC material and metal 🤷♂️
