Does anyone have any suggestions,on how to compress this enough to get the clip off.I’d buy a tool,if it helps/works..also..I want to install the cartridges from a set of 88 forks..I saw a feed once,a guy did it,but said the bottom of the tubes would need machined a little..Anyone have any insight on this?   Thanks people

First thing you'd have to do is let the nitrogen out of it. Then, you'd need a driver, put it in a big vise and compress it that way so you can pull the clip out of it.

I'd recommend you call Bob at FCR Suspension of East Palestine, Ohio, They can do the shock for you, and I'd bet they can help you with the forks as well. Call or text at 330-426-4600. Tell them Leon recommended you call.
